Alice has practised equine sports massage and shiatsu for more than 5 years. She uses various natural therapies to improve ailments such as stiffness, muscle injury, back pain and other performance issues in horses.
Alice has owned and been involved with horses for over 25 years. She has passed the British Horse Society examinations and competed in British Dressage sanctioned competitions up to and including second level, qualifying with two horses for both the North West Regional and Winter National Championships, UK. Alice also groomed for her husband in British Eventing sanctioned events in the UK. In Canada, Alice has recently taken on a new challenge in the sport of Reining
Alice became a shiatsu therapist for both horses and dogs under the guidance of Shiatsu Master Jacqueline Cook of Roseheart Kingdom. She studied equine sports massage at The Institute of Complementary Animal Therapies between 2007-2009 and graduated with distinction, under the tutelage of Julie Boxall -Tully. Alice is also qualified in equine diagnostic assessments through EquiTherapy, UK with Gilliyan Carter-Morgan.
Since moving to Canada, Alice is now certified as a Kinesiology Taping Practitioner, having completed exams and case studies with Dr. Angelique Barbara MS DC Angel’s Animals. Alice is also a certified Equi-Bow practitioner having fulfilled all the requirements of the Equi-Bow curriculum with Equi-Bow Canada.
